Shot from inside the line, not the sideline
I'm Tom Tranfaglia, an action sports photographer and videographer based on Massachusetts' North Shore. I shoot bikers, kayakers, climbers, hikers, and runners the way I'd want to be shot — close enough to feel the effort, far enough to see the terrain that's making it hard.
I know this coastline because I've trained on it: the granite at Halibut Point, the single-track through Lynn Woods, the tide windows on the Essex River. That local knowledge means less time scouting and more time getting the shot before the light changes.
My work spans brand content, event coverage, and editorial — always on location, never in a studio. If it happens outdoors on the North Shore, I've probably shot it.
